I cut my teeth as an intern for The Times of India, the country’s largest English daily, more than a decade ago.

Since then, I have worked as staff reporter in an Indian financial daily, spent a year as a foreign correspondent in Southeast Asia, won a Fulbright fellowship to study journalism at Columbia University, and helped build a regional edition for Quartz in India.

Since 2019, I’ve been a correspondent for Reuters based in New Delhi, covering politics and general news in the world’s largest (and perhaps, the most raucous) democracy.

I write, take pictures, shoot video, and love the fact that no two days on the job are the same.
