Recent Work

I am a Bangkok-based senior correspondent at Reuters, with a focus on business stories and those involving the nexus of money and power across Southeast Asia.

Previously, I was a senior correspondent covering politics and general news out of New Delhi, where I was part of multiple award-winning Reuters reporting teams.

Through most of 2022, I have focused on the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, including several months of reporting on-the-ground across the island nation, delivering a string of exclusives, deeply-reported stories and analysis pieces.

Since joining the news agency in 2019, I have also helped cover how government missteps fueled India’s deadly second wave of COVID-19 infections, and the spillover of Myanmar’s coup into northeast Indian.
